Karen Vergara is a financial advisor at AllGen Financial Advisors, Inc., an independent fee-based Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm based in Orlando, Florida. A Colombia native who was raised in Orlando, FL, Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is a Lifework Leadership Graduate (Class of 2021). Karen has a background in financial statements, reporting, taxes, and has worked for Deloitte, the largest professional services firm in the world. She was the youngest chair in the history of the FICPA Central FL Chapter and is a past board member of Amigos Unidos, a nonprofit that helps the needy around the world. She is a trained facilitator for Journey of Generosity retreats and is passionate about outrageous generosity and financial stewardship. Fluent in English and Spanish, Karen has traveled to more than 45 countries and has visited the Seven Wonders of the World. In her free time, she likes to go on adventures with her husband, Jorge, son, Felipe, and Old English Sheepdog, Enzo. She collects tea sets and enjoys inviting others to a cup of coffee or tea.
